Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to every purchase from Vermont Singing Drum ("we," "us"), 4 Howard Street, Burlington, Vermont 05401. By placing an order you agree to them. If you have questions, email us at singingdrum8@gmail.com.
1. Our products
Our steel tongue drums are handmade, hand finished and hand tuned in Vermont. Because each one is made by hand, small variations in finish, color and tone from the photos and sound samples on this site are normal and are not defects. We also sell accessories, vinyl decals and laser-etched designs.
2. Orders and pricing
All prices are in US dollars. Applicable Vermont sales tax and local taxes are calculated at checkout based on your shipping address. Placing an order is an offer to buy; your order is accepted when we send a confirmation email. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if an item is unavailable, a price was listed in error, or we suspect fraud.
3. Payment
Payments are processed securely by Square. We accept major credit and debit cards, Cash App Pay and Square gift cards. We never see or store your full card number. Your card is charged when you place your order.
4. Custom engraving, decals and etching
Personalized items are made to your instructions. Please check spelling, names and dates carefully before ordering; we reproduce what you send us. Once work on a personalized item has started, the order can't be changed or cancelled. You confirm you have the right to use any text, logo or artwork you send us.
5. Shipping
We currently ship within the United States only, and shipping is free. Delivery times are estimates. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers your order. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the item and packaging so we can make it right.
6. Returns and refunds
Returns and refunds are covered by our Refund and Returns Policy.
7. Coupons and gift cards
Coupon codes have no cash value, can't be combined unless we say so, and may be withdrawn at any time. Square gift cards are governed by Square's gift card terms.
8. Using our drums safely
Our drums are musical instruments, not toys. Young children should play them with adult supervision. Mallets and small parts may be a choking hazard for children under 3.
9. Website content
All text, photos, sound samples and designs on this site belong to Vermont Singing Drum and may not be copied or reused without our permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.
11. Privacy
How we handle your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont.
13. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
